Common Usage Issues
What should I do if a needle bends during use?
A: Stop immediately. Safely discard the bent needle in a sharps container and replace it with a new, sterile one. Never attempt to straighten and reuse it.
What should I do if a needle tip breaks during a tattoo?
A: Stop tattooing immediately. If the fragment is on the skin's surface, remove it with sterile tweezers. If it's lodged in the skin, advise the client to seek medical attention for safe removal. Document the incident.
Why is the needle scratching the skin or causing trauma?
A: This is often caused by incorrect needle depth, a dull/burred needle tip, incorrect angle, or excessive hand speed. Review your setup and technique. If issues persist after ruling out technique and ink, please contact us with clear photos.
Why is the needle not holding pigment or applying ink poorly?
A: Common causes include insufficient depth, using the wrong needle type for the task, a damaged needle tip, or ink that is too thick. If problems continue after checking technique and ink, please contact us with clear photos. In the rare case of a quality issue, we will make it right.

How do I safely dispose of used needles?
